OPI Skyfall Collection 2012
I recently purchased the new OPI polish line called Skyfall. And I must say, I am in LOVE with these colors. They are so beautiful! Most of the colors are very unique. Some look like a color from the regular line with a little more oomph. But all in all the collection is a very good one. All of these colors are available at smart style salons or any other major salon chain for purchase. Or you can purchase them in the Internet. Here's a quick description of the colors and their prices.
Tomorrow Never Dies: a deep royal metallic purple. Looks almost navy in the bottle so I was pleased when it turned out to be purple :)
Moonraker: a metallic bluish silver. Beautiful color to go with a black outfit and perfect for "wow factor" in the evening.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service: deep gray with multi color sparkles. Also a very good evening color.
Live And Let Die: deep forest green with small orange and yellow sparkles. Very unique color but I think it's a good one for fall.
The World Is Not Enough: a warm brown with multi color sparkle. Almost like last years "Warm And Fozzie" fom the Muppets collection but in a lighter brown.
The Living Daylights: chunky copper, silver, and teal glitter. Like most glitter polishes it has a clear base so you need multiple coats to achieve a solid nail.
Goldeneye: warm gold sparkle. By far my favorite in the collection. It has a gold base so two coats is enough to cover your whole nail. Very unique and beautiful color.
Die Another Day: red-orange shimmer. It looks like if "Danke-shiny Red" and "Deutch You Want Me Baby" from the recent Germany collection mixed they would make this wonderful color. Another very unique shade.
The Spy Who Loved Me: a true sparkly red. Very similar to other colors in their line.
You Only Live Twice: deep magenta sparkle. Looks like a glitzier version of "Be A Dahlia Won't You" from their "Nice Stems" collection.
Casino Royale: deep purple burgundy. More of a creme' color. No sparkle but goes in very nicely. Very pigmented. Looks like a regular line color renamed.
Skyfall: deep rusty burgundy. Has a tiny of orange in a wine colored base. Also a creme' color so again. No sparkle.
Price: $8.50 retail.
Thoughts: All in all this collection is gorgeous. All the colors are pigmented and in lively shades to represent James Bond himself 😉. I would definitely suggest having some of these colors in your collection. Below are a few swatches. Enjoy! And have happy nails ❤

NYX "mini haul"
Hey everyone!
Hailea here again with a small haul. These products are all NYX which, if you don't already know, is a "high end" drug store brand. I LOVE these products. They are all highly pigmented and have great color pay off. I bought a few new products that I've never tried before and a few of my "tried and true" products in different shades. I have never had a problem with any NYX products at all. So here's a list of what I ordered. I order all NYX from www.cherryculture.com. All products ship fast and never arrive damaged :).

Kat Von D mini haul
Recently I made a purchase on sephora.com. And ordered a lot of Kat Von D products :). I love all of the products. I haven't been able to fully test all of the products but I was very excited to do a few swatches of things :) here is what I ordered.
Kat Von D lock it tattoo foundation : $26
Kat Von D high voltage nail laquer in sparkle horse: $8
Kat Von D true romance pigment in meditation: $7
Kat Von D high voltage eye primer in smoky: $7
Too Faced cat eye kit: $12
My only problem with any of these products was with the deluxe lash injection 2 mascara. I believe they didn't put a "scraper" in the tube so none of the product gets off the brush. I can always scrape it myself but it's a pain in the butt. All in all I'm very satisfied with all the products I ordered :). The foundation even covered up the scars on my arm! Here's a few swatches.

How to: Clip in Extensions
Hello lovelies :)
This evening was a whole new great experience for me :). I got my Mary Kay starter kit and I made clip in extensions for my friend! So let's start with the simplest thing I did today, which was actually the extensions. This is actually super super easy! So let's start with materials:
1) a weft of real human hair that matches your hair color and either is for added length or added volume.
2) a curved needle so you don't stab yourself with it.
3) thread or embroidery thread to sew the weft to the clips.
4) wig clips to sew the weft to and to clip into the hair.
5) scissors to cut thread and the weft of hair.
6) clips to hold the real hair in place when measuring.
Now well start with the actual process.
1) I always start with sectioning the hair from ear to ear so you have front and back sections.
2) section the back half about an inch and a half from the hairline to start measuring the section of the weft to cut. Never ever go from end to end on your section. This causes the edges to be seen easier. I always start and end my measurement at least half an inch from my hairline to avoid this. Once you've measured you can cut!
3) Cut your measured length and set aside. Move up an inch an a half to section out the next section. Repeat all of steps two and three.
4) once you reach the top of the head move on to the sides.
5) repeat all steps again keeping half an inch from the hairline and moving up at inch and a half increments until you get to the inch section before their part
6) After you finish both sides and have all your sections cut its time to sew!
7) with the larger sections (mainly the back sections) you may need 2 or 3 wig clips to hold the section in place.
8) wig clips have holes you can thread a needle through. So thread your needle and place the clip (comb side out) on the back of the cut weft of hair.
9) line the holes up with the band at the top of the weft and start sewing. You can sew anyway you wish but just make sure it's tight and hold the hair well enough.
10) repeat on all wefts and your done!
Now it's time to clip into your hair and rock that longer thicker hair. For cheap!

Time to complete: ~1 hour

So as you can see you save a whole lot of money for the same product. It just takes a little time and patience and before you know it you have your own extensions to use over and over again :)
P.s. those clips in the last picture were actually sewed in backwards. Haha that was my mistake! Sorry for any confusion!

My "Beauty Room" (in progress)
So today I decided to somewhat "organize" my so called "beauty room". Which is essentially all my hair, makeup, nails, and skin products minus my Mary Kay stuff. Which is a lot to tackle. Let me tell you! Trying to track down all my color bowls, gloves, developers, polishes, and products is a chore all it's own. I have so much stuff that I just leave it in my car, other peoples cars, other peoples houses, and god knows where else. I never know its "missing" until I try to tackle this room in my house. So needless to say it took a little bit of work. But here are some photos of all the stuff I have :)
